RESUME
about me
I was very lucky to be able to go to an elementary school that was on the beach. Sullivans Island Elementary is one of the few schools that incorporate the learning with the beach and that is something that really helped me understand concepts as a child.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Resturant
Hometeam BBQ | Sullivans Island, SC | 2018-2019 | Bus Boy

Physical Therapy Clinic
ATI Physical Therapy | Mount Pleasant, SC | 2018-2019 | Physical Therapy Assistant.
This was an internship that I wanted to do because I am very interested in being a Physical Therapist. My school offered a class called "Interns that Work" that gave you school credit for working when you could have been enrolled in classes. As long as I showed proof of working for a company such as a signature from my boss, I would be receive my credit. I did the internship for a semester and received great recommendations from the clinic and credit for my high school.
MUSC Hospital
The Medical University of South Carolina Hospital (MUSC) | Downtown Charleston, SC | 2018-2019 | Intern
When my internship at the physical therapy clinic ended, my parents and I needed to find something for me to do that would occupy my free time for my last semester of high school. My dad contacted one of my soccer coaches (Sachin) who wasn't just a coach but also worked for the telemedicine section of MUSC. At first we wanted to see if Sachin could get me into the rehabilitation clinic which would be similar to my previous internship. Sachin was not able to pull those strings but was able to offer a job in his section at MUSC.
The full definition of telemedicine is that it allows health care professionals to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients at a distance using telecommunications technology. What I did while at MUSC involved me making kits that were sent to people either in or out of South Carolina. The kits were called Heart Valve kits. In the kit there was an iPhone 6+, bluetooth blood pressure monitor, bluetooth weight scale, and a wireless pulse oximeter. All of this wireless equipment is connected to an app on the iPhone 6+ that goes through a daily assessment. The daily assessment takes the patients weight, blood pressure, and oxygen intake. Overall, I really liked working at MUSC. I made great connections with great people.

Special Skills
I am able to read peoples lips even when I have my earbuds on to max volume. I am very good at soccer as I have been playing for my whole life. When I was attending an I.D camp at Highpoint I was offered a sport on Hampton Sydneys soccer team. I was very flattered by the offer but I had to decline because I applied early decision to Highpoint University.
